Fresh start And partners For Youth
outreach high schools
Registration
There is a careful, step-by-step intake process to determine if our
program is right for the student. Call one of
the sites to set up an
intake appointment.
STEP 1: In-take Interview
- In-depth personal interview with you (your parents may attend).
- Some course work might be provided so you can get started while waiting
to be contacted.
STEP 2: Background Review
- Staff will conduct a review of your educational history and make a
determination as to the suitability of our program.
- If our program is not a good fit for you, we will do our best to
recommend other schools or programs that may help you with your
education.
STEP 3: Invitation to Orientation
- You will be welcome to participate in an Orientation, which is 5 full
days of attendance to get students off to a positive, successful start.
- During orientation, students are expected to work diligently on their
introductory modules and begin some courses. You and your advisor will set up an attendance and course work plan.
- There will be information sessions during orientation so you can learn
about the school, the staff, and the services and supports available to
you.
- Orientation is a time to learn about the program and get to know us, as
we are getting to know you.
STEP 4: Registration is Finalized
- Upon successful completion of orientation, your registration will be
finalized.
- If you are not successful during orientation, another program
may be recommended OR you may be invited to complete another
orientation.
Forms
You may print and complete these forms and bring them to your in-take
interview.
